| Great utility in the kitchen. These come from interesting cuts of wood I set aside during the bowl making process. The bases are non corrosive metal o-rings to seal.

Black cherry bowl |
$700 |
| 7x17.5" |
This large bowl echoes the exceptional size of the black cherry tree from which it was turned. Large cherry is rare in Vermont. This one was growing along a field edge and had a spreading crown of foliage which is hinted at by the large area of sapwood in the bowl. I centered the work to provide a balanced grain pattern which draws the focus to the center of the piece. This bowl has substantial presence and will make a beautiful centerpiece or serving bowl that will feed many. |
